The 49ers closed out the 2014 Exhibition season by thoroughly routing the Houston Texans, 40-13. It was the scrubs finest hour. And for many of them, their final hour, too.
The first half looked pretty similar to the starting unit’s motif — dick around ineptly for almost a half, then suddenly catch fire and score two touchdowns in the final two minutes. After intermission, Josh Johnson took over at QB and shredded the Texans, making a strong case to be Colin Kaepernick’s backup this year, even though his case is more than likely to be denied, as it was in 2012.
Today and tomorrow are final cut down days. Sad days if you’re a cutted character, but fairly humorous and interesting if you’re a sadistic couch potato. 704 players will be fired. 320 will be rehired to practice squads. Leaving 384 to join the unemployment lines of America and begin the nomadic NFL career of a marginal, occasionally employed entity.
The 49ers are going to lose some good players, that’s for sure. And the Texans, who have first claim on waived specimens, were probably eyeing the Niners’ scrubs with particular interest Thursday night.
After getting torched in the first two exhibition games, the 49ers defense allowed a mere two TDs in the final two games. It was opined that the defense was tired in the first two games, after a rigorous but legal training camp, and a more refreshed crew lived up to its billing in the final two. Since the opination is comfortable and reassuring, I’m buying it and moving on into the regular season with inflated hopes!
Today is the final day for Roger Goodell to announce the length of Aldon Smith’s suspension. It’s quite tacky of the commissioner to wait this long to reveal his decision. Should the Niners plan on Aldon’s absence for a couple of games or half a season. It might be kind of important to know before making final roster cuts. Probably not, but any time righteous grumbling can be associated with Goodell it’s a fine day in the world that should be milked for all it’s worth.
The next two days are likely the most tense time of the year between GM Trent Baalke and HC Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh knows who he wants on the team, but final say on the roster belongs to Baalke. Harbaugh’s only concern is talent, but Baalke has to consider cap dollar trade-offs and, of course, his own ego. Blaine Gabbert versus Josh Johnson could come down to some steam wafting skyward from Harbaugh’s head. Johnson looks like the far better option at backup QB, but Gabbert was signed by Baalke and has a $2 million guarantee. Good luck, boys. No pie throwing in front of the players, please.
A great two days for waiver wire transactions, gentlemen. Let’s sit back and enjoy the drama.
Have we seen some of the “new” offense or has it even left the garage? We shall find out in 9 days.
IMO, it is the players who win and the coaches can compliment that or be a bump in the road. So far, Roman has been a bump in the road. Our coaches seem to outsmart themselves on offense instead of just letting the players play. When you make the players think too much they don’t play instinctively enough. That split second of decision making is costly. The offense should be simple and consistent.
When we do play basic football it is usually from bunched formations. The Sardine can offense is just not dynamic enough to win a Super Bowl. The SCO requires an historic defense to win it all (See Baltimore, Chicago and Tampa). With those three teams much of the offense came from the defense doing a lot of scoring.
I’m hoping we pull an offense out of the garage that is simple and does not allow the opposition to load the box. We’ll see soon. We need the OC to compliment the players instead of him reading his press clippings that say he is a genius. Simplify with an offense that can move the ball and let the players play instinctively. Just my opinion.
Something tells me that after the first game it is Greg Roman who I wish was cut on cut down day! Let us hope my premonition is wrong.
I keep hearing in the media what a great offensive coordinator he is. I’ve only seen a handful of plays that made me take notice. I long for the days when we would march down the field and score a touchdown. I can’t remember the last time we opened the game with a touchdown drive then stopped the opponent and were ready to drive again. Please help me to remember we have opened a game with a touchdown drive in the not to distant past!
Well, I certainly saw a lot more 3 WR formations in the red zone. I hope this is something that becomes real. Tosses to VMcD coming out of the backfield, play action on FIRST down, things that are a little more tricky than WE ARE RUNNING UP THE MIDDLE, PLEASE STOP US. It’s hard enough to get there, and more of a pisser when you screw it up by giving away downs.
BigJon, for a guy who is supposedly a genius, if he WAS a hot commodity, he’d have been hired away. I don’t think many teams want to run the offense he runs.
Ain’t that the truth. When the press calls him a good coordinator it feels more like they are patronizing him so they can get the hot info they are looking for, to write about or say on air. If he is so good why can’t he get a HC job when he has actually said he wants one? I think his best chance would probably be if something happens to David Shaw at Stanford. They like to lose big games by running into the middle of the line. See last year’s Rose Bowl.
It’s pretty obvious that Goody sits at the right hand of JJ. I am waiting to see how the “F,ing Boys” end up with AP. Anyway, I will hate to see some of our players go (same as always) and wonder at the F,ing ineptitude that our brass display in their decisions. I think we keep 3 QB’s just in case.
You miss David Carr that much, Winder? If anything, their personnel decisions have been great. No one that has left has done better than the folks they replaced them with.
LOL, I don’t miss Carr at all. Where did that come from? I do think Carr is equal to what we have as a backup now though. I think we keep Johnson out of desperation.
Well, you said you were wondering at the front office’s ineptitude in keeping players. I’m just saying that they’ve been good to great at identifying the right guys to keep.
Unless I completely misread your post. Which is always possible . . .
9 games for Aldon Smith. What a crock of shit.
Pretty much pisses all over the fact that Smith went to rehab. There goes the incentive for that.
I wonder how long it takes before we hear that Smith is appealing the decision?
It should get knocked down to 4 games.
And, dollars to donuts, they already talked about this.
Goody just told the Niners and Aldon to assume the position. This crap is not surprising.
The NFL does anything and everything it can to control the outcome of their product.
chuck- I did use the word “ineptitude” in that 11:41 post and that is definitely not the way it’s been. We have kept overall the best players. I was speaking from a personal point of view in that I always like certain players and they always cut em. Hmmmm, i wonder why
Ahhhh. Got it, Winder. It’s call the Kory Sheets syndrome. Or Nate Davisitis.
Jon, yeah that’s true, but it doesn’t explain the absolutely random decisions Goodell has made over the years regarding suspensions and fines.
Smith gets what amounts to a 14 game suspension, and Goodell says he didn’t factor in the rehab Smith went to last year.
Which means in the future, players have no incentive to do that.
Still no word on Jim Irsay?
Apparently, the appeal was denied before it was even asked for.
Goodell is a joke.
I wonder if public opinion sways this decision.
With Gabbert in, I only saw 2 WR/2 TE/1 RB sets, except on third down, which was 3 WR/1-2 TE/0-1 RB.
Sometimes our base set starts with 3 WR/1 TE/1 RB, but then one wide motions to line up as a TE one step off the line.
Sometimes we go 1 WR/2 TE/2 RB.
This is exactly what they ran with Kap the first three games, so I have to assume this is 90% of what we’ll see this year.
There may be some new wrinkles in play calling, especially I’ve seen more passing on first down. There may be a couple tricks, like last nights flea flicker (with JJ?).
But all in all, it’s Ground Jim. Same offense as last year.
Lemoneir played a lot better each game of the pre-season. He couldn’t play much worse than the way he did vs the Ravens. We will be needing him and Skuta and Lynch to get to the QB and hold up against the run. I know they can all get to the QB, it’s the hold back the run part that worries me. IMO, no OLB or DE in the NFL is better at both sacking the QB and stopping the run than Aldon.
RT- We ran a lot of 3 WR wide sets with JJ and we moved the ball. Hmmm!
Bergs, we did that, too, in the first three games, but only after Kap was out. The first team with Kap ran the same as the first team with Gabby last night.
I hate roger goodell that coccksucking loser. You get two games if you knockout a woman and drag her but get pissed off at tsa agents and you get nine games
If i ever run into that monkey im going to punch his face in
The penalties today were for the airport incident, the illegal guns, firing guns in the air at his party and the DUI where he was trying to run over a tree.
One key point everyone is missing is he gets to train with the team through the nine games. The other guys suspended like Josh Gordon are banned from their facilities.
This is very important when Aldon comes back in week 11 against
the NY Giants, which is 2 weeks before the first Seahag game.
We just restructured raymac’s deal. My guess is it gets us close to 11 mil under. I wonder if we’re trying to coax boone back in. I hope so
Bullit
He left four games last year for rehab fukk goodell
Ray rice is a pig and a beater of women two games
Aldon drinks too much and has problems
Goodell is a douchebag
I guess there was a hurricane off the coast of Mexico earlier this week. It has made t’s way up to Reno. Dark clouds, no rain and 18 mph winds. I’m right in the middle of a hurricane! I’m going to go outside, drink a beer in the back and relax, errrrr, brave it like a man! Yeah, that’s it! Some of us just have to be brave!
Hmm
BERGER
Your hurricane has 18 mph winds . Lol that’s not a hurricane it’s a nice breeze
Rob- I think those were the gusts, I even doubt that info. It was very pleasant, errrrr, dangerous in the back yard!
Watch out for falling houses!
I told my dogs to be on the lookout for a dog named Toto!
http://youtu.be/htgr3pvBr-I
You had to know that was coming, bergs
Unca- I like it! Here is a much better Toto song. In fact, one of the great songs of the ’80s!
http://youtu.be/DWfY9GRe7SI
I see your guys Africa, and I raise you with Boston. More than a Feeling. “I see my Marianne walkin’ away. I closed my eyes and she slipped away…”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSR6ZzjDZ94
I heard Marianne’s trench is the deepest and widest in the world. I’d let her walk away!
I apologize, that was Mariana Trench.
Berger, I’m well versed in the Mariana Trench. It’s deepest point reaches nearly 7 miles in the Pacific Ocean. I think that’s the same amount it takes to dive deep into Greg Roman’s playbook until you find a pass play on first and ten.
Is Marianas Trench related to Sylvia? She was the first.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95Zgz1_xYx8
There was a report that Gabbert was getting his shoulder xrayed
yesterday. Josh Johnson might just make the 53 as the backup.
Bloody Saturday coming up soon. Get out the popcorn!
How about some NFL music!

It has been revealed that the NFL Players Association was also involved in the determination of the terms of Aldon’s suspension and punishment.
Apparently Aldon checking himself into rehab last year did not factor into the penalty even though Goodell said it might.
The reason is Aldon’s “blowup” at LAX was fueled by Aldon having one too many. That was most likely Aldon’s own explanation that he wasn’t a terrorist or had ill intent against Socal or the people at the airport. It was never revealed publicly but if in fact he was intoxicated that trumped all the good that his rehab did because he had a relapse and took the “time served” off the table.
So it was determined by the NFLPA, The NFL and the Niners that allowing Aldon to come to the facility to work out and study on a daily basis would be good therapy as opposed to a ban where he had idle time to get into trouble. The NFL allowed this provided their decision was final with no appeals allowed.
First three on the chopping block: Carter Bykowski and Glenn Winston and Shayne Skov.
Asante Cleveland, Mike Purcell.
Skeebers, why did you disable the YouTube video link so now it only shares a link? Many a times the point of emphasis, or more importantly, the punchline to a joke is shown right there on screen. The reader need not necessarily even play the video to have the point driven home. Seeing only the link to the video lacks the necessary “oomph.”
Just my two cents.
I didn’t do nuthin’, Dennis. Which video do you mean? I can fix it.
Re posting a link: if you hit “enter” after the link, it just displays the link. If you don’t, it displays the video.
Hmm. I checked a couple of the links and discovered they were posted properly. Don’t know why WordPress/Youtube is suddenly not showing them.
C.J. Spillman gone.
Longsnapper switcheroo: 49ers cut Kevin McDermott and keep Kyle Nelson. K. Lynch called this one. Nelson can play TE, too, as we saw in final preseason game.
Kassim Osgood gone. Might return after first game, a la last year.
G/T Michael Philipp.
Will Tukuafu.
G Al Netter.
Giants put Mario Manningham on IR. A regular injury machine still.
Noticeable pause between first 12 released and next ten. Harbaugh and Baalke arm wrestling at HQ?
G Ryan Seymour.
RB Alfonso Smith.
Adam Snyder.
Undrafted rookie Dillon Farrell is apparently being kept instead of Snyder. Talk about an under the radar guy. The Niners don’t even want to chance him passing through waivers.
Not Bykowski, whataretheythinking.
berger – loved that NFL video. The players maybe stronger & faster now but they certainly aren’t any tougher.
Bubba Ventrone
Kyle Orton, $3 million of Jerruh’s in his pocket and now getting paid by the Bills to hold a clipboard. Now, THAT was a holdout.
Age/base salaries of 49ers notable cuts:
C.J. Spillman (28, $1.2 million); Adam Snyder (32, $1 million); Kassim Osgood (34, $955,000), Bubba Ventrone ($855,000).
Ventrone and Spillman being cut means McCray of Catawba College has made the team as a Safety/Special Teams guy.
Skov being waived might mean they are keeping the other Stanford guy Chase Thomas.
Everyone is waiting to hear about Lloyd and Josh Johnson
Osgood and / or Ventrone might come back after the first week.
James stuck after all at RB. At least until / If Lattimore can play. Winston probably will be on the PS if he clears waivers.
Seven healthy OL to start the season. Farrell is the backup center until Martin is healthy, I think. Bykowski might be back if someone else does not sign him.
I hope the cuts to ST guys do not cost us in the early going this year.
I figured LMJ would make it after the Thurs. game. He was getting all the carries with the 1st team and he looked very good.
Not too surprised and/or upset about any of these moves. The only that will piss me off royally is if they keep both Gabbert and JJ. The third QB is dead weight and a giant waste of a much needed roster spot. I hope Baalke puts his foot down and tells Jimbo to go eff himself.
I do it all the time.
1 PM and I’m still not seeing the last names anywhere.
Attention gay males: Michael Sam is a free man. Rams cut his boyfriend-kissing ass. Give ’em a call and cheer up Judy Garland.
1:15, still nothing. It’s been an hour so the cuts have been made. It’s been an hour since Ventrone was announced. I’m wondering if the 49ers are looking at adding a player off the waiver wire, or are working a trade?
The Saints released both of their PKs. I would too if I had their potent offense. I’d eschew PATs and FGs and go for two and 4th down attempts if I had Brees, Graham & Co.
Lawrence Okoye.
Barrows says Okoye has been released.
LOL. Ninja’d.
How bout that ending to the OSU/Navy game? Just when you think society is totally down the shitter and the world is full of nothing but villains and the depraved, a great show of respect and class by both schools. *golf clap*
QB Josh Johnson has has made the 49ers’ initial 53-man roster.
Stevie’s making some good guaranteed coin so this should get interesting. Ellington’s a lock IMO. So Lloyd, Patton?
The Shadow Knows.
Per Maiocco:
“The 49ers must make five more roster moves. Thus far, there have been no confirmed reports on the following “bubble” players: WR Lance Lewis, WR L’Damian Washington, DE Demarcus Dobbs, OLB Chase Thomas, CB Kenneth Acker, CB Perrish Cox, CB Chris Cook.”
Hmmmmm. Keep Acker. Dobbs or Cook?
I guess Lloyd and Patton make it. I can’t count.
But of course Josh Johnson has made the roster. The Niners are just trying to piss me off. What a waste of a roster spot. Add that to the fact that Craig Dahl is still on the team tells me they’re not even trying. Which leads me to say…
How bout dem Cowboys! 馃槢
I’m surprised we kept Dahl and let two safeties who play ST go.
They’ve cut some longtime core STers. JJ will be on the inactive list Week 1 vs Dallas and for the weeks to come. All JJ provides is insurance. And if you guys haven’t learned it by now, insurance is a bad bet be it blackjack, home or life.
You’re betting on a disaster happening. It’s a sucker bet.
Barrows confirms Acker made the team.
Maiocco says
“CB Darryl Morris and OLB Chase Thomas released by 49ers”
He also said Acker and Tukuafu were placed on Injured Reserve
WR Lance Lewis, WR L’Damian Washington.
I think they just stashed Acker for next year. I didn’t know he was injured.
Stubbed toe.
Maybe I sound like George Allen with his Other The Hill Gang, but if by any chance Eric Winston RT now ex-Seahawk was possible, I’d jump at him.
Looks like Isaac Sopoaga and Curtis Taylor didn’t survive final Cardinal cuts.

Initial guess at first week inactives: J. Johnson, M. Martin, B. Lloyd, Q. Patton, G. Dorsey, D. Dobbs, A. Lynch, D. Johnson.
Dorsey’s going on IR/designated to return. He’ll be off the roster by the first game.
Another year on IR for Kyle Williams.
AJ Jenkins survives cut in KC.
I can’t believe we kept Greg Roman!
Why did we keep so many WRs. Greg Roman doesn’t know how to get them open. In our offense a WR running ahead by a half a step is considered open. We only need 3 or 4 and a 2 or three TE. We can always line up FBs and OL wide. Roman has done it many times.
I am watching USC with their new play caller this year. USC has most of the same players on offense this year as last minus a lineman and star WR. their offense looks good, something it never did last year under Kiffen. If anybody wants to sell me that a play caller is not one of the most important keys to winning I am not respecting said individual as a football person worth spending serious time trying to commit a serious conversation with. I will talk to said individuals so I can have a good laugh. USC is a power again. The biggest difference, they got a play caller so the players can perform to their potential.
I’m watching receivers run wide open. I haven’t seen that at USC for years. It is so good to have a good play caller again. Now if only my 49ers would do the same thing and upgrade the play caller.
Nice job on cutdown day by us imo. The only surprise for me was snyder out for someone i’ve never heard of!
And maybe bubba ventrone. Sure hope our ST are up to snuff
Good to see we kept 8 0-line 8 D-line 6 WR’s and about 9 DB’s!!!
Perfect
You called it on Patton, Rob!!!!!!!!
No RT i was just making sure CHUCK knew my old fav lloyd would make the cut! !!
I thought they’d keep one of the two not both.
Oh, crap. Ray McDonald arrested for domestic violence.
That gives me a little hope that we open this up, ROB!!!
Unbelievable. I don’t have a lot of patience for men who womp on women. I’m not going to say anything until we know more. It doesn’t sound good. I read it is a felony domestic battery. The woman is pregnant. I pray for the woman, the unborn baby and Ray.
49ers holdout G Alex Boone is expected to report to San Francisco in next 24 hours with a reworked 2-year contract, per league sources.
“The Browns have claimed OT Ryan Seymour.”
2.3 mill raise over 2 years for Boone. Can’t be tagged in ’16.
“Browns have also claimed RB Glenn Winston.”
Rats, should have kept him and dumped LaMichael.
CB Darryl Morris claimed by the Texans.
Ray McDonald is a stupid “F” and this really hurts the team.It would’ve been better if he just broke his leg. So Cleveland and Texas are pilfering our cuts, to me that’s a good sign. Good News about Boone if it’s true.
Looks like the Tank Carradine era might be coming sooner than we expected.
Good to see Boone coming back.
Let’s just hope Boone isn’t out of shape and injury prone due to missed conditioning now.
That would suck big time.
Training Camp is all about conditioning and, no matter what these guys do on their own, it never measures up to Team supervised standards.
Awesome news about boone yessssssss
Ray m. Well gotta wait for all the facts
looks bad imo
49ers re-signed 7 to P-squad: DL Okoye, NT Purcell, ILB Skov, OLB Thomas, WR Lewis, OT Bykowski & TE Cleveland.
Normally they give 2 week roster exemptions for guys like Boone
to practice and get into shape. If Looney plays at a high level
Harbaugh will have to make a tough choice.
Looney should be motivated to show the FO they don’t need to spend the big dollars on Iupati next year.
Boone should be ready to go against the Cards in the 3rd week.
I couldn’t find if Ray Mc is still in the pokey. He is/was being held without bail, but could be released today on $50K (don’t ask me how, but that’s probably most likely) OR could be held till Tues. when court reopens.
The brand spankin’ new NFL guidelines specify a minimum 6 game suspension, with a longer penalty at Rog’s discretion for extraordinary circumstances (such as, maybe, the victim is pregnant???). This penalty, again at Rog’s discretion, would be imposed when the case is disposed OR when “enough” information is accrued.
So, sometime between now and forever, Rog will institute an undefined suspension at his discretion. For now, it’s a matter of whether Jimbo is a man of his word or whether football takes priority. Three guesses on that one and mine is something like, “Did I really say that? I was jesting, Shirley.”
RT Maiocco suggested that he was freed on $25K Bond –
McDonald was booked into Santa Clara County Jail at 5:30 a.m. He was released on $25,000 bail later Sunday morning, according to San Jose Police. McDonald is scheduled to appear in Santa Clara Superior Court on Sept. 15 at 1:30 p.m.
Sorry – Forgot the link –
http://www.csnbayarea.com/49ers/mcdonald-arrested-suspicion-domestic-violence
McDonald was one of those that wasn’t nfl ready when we drafted him and we groomed him for years, mostly through injuries. Another case of entitlement as far as I’m concerned. Curious to see what he actually did to her, big guy like that.
If Jimbo backs down on what he told the players about violence to women, he’s done as a HC here. Not physically, of course, but in terms of respect. It’s time to take a bullet for the team, and the bullettee is McDonald.
Remember when you could stick out your chest and say you were proud to be a 49er fan? Those days are long since gone. Even the most “companyist” of Company Men wouldn’t dare say in public that they’re now proud of how this organization comports itself.
The lack of organizational control and subsequent misdeeds and criminal activity by its players is at an all-time low. Since Harbaugh’s arrival the team leads the NFL in number of arrests. Coincidence? You make the call.
But it better be the right call. Because if it’s Niner related they only allow you one phone call in jail. And it better be to your lawyer.
“The Chiefs and Alex Smith have agreed to a four-year, $68M contract extension with $45M in guarantees.”
Wow, that’s a lot of money for rolling right and throwing out of bounds
With the added incentives, water coolers on both sidelines might be in play now 馃榾
If McDonald is suspended for most of the year or released, Purcell might be the guy who goes on the 53. Unless the 49ers go outside the organization. I think Okoye is still working through an injury and in any event is too raw to contribute.
Damn. Two big comedic “thumbs up” to both Winder and NJ for their Alex Smith rim shots. Couldn’t have said it better myself. You guys beat me to the punch. But I was out busy feeding my ducks — the healthy variety. Not the lame ducks that Alex chucks into the mezzanine level after rolling right.
Jodie Foster just called from her pinball machine…$68M with $45M guaranteed? Somebody’s getting “Accused” (1988) of rape.
I guess it’s only a matter of time until Jennifer Lawrence becomes a 49er “Gold Rush” girl. Leaked nude photos from a young Oscar-winning starlet. Sullied reputation? Come be a Niner.
Oh how I long for the unsullied. This team needs more Grey Worms.
Don’t think we’ve seen the last of C.J. Spillman. We’re likely to see him on the very first play of the game Sunday.
Right, Dennis. You long for the Singletary days don’t you?
Chuck, you couldn’t be further from my intended point of reference if you were guided by GPS…
Go
Phuck yourself
Sez me
Cmon CHUCK lay off. Singletary was 2-14. You know DENNIS isn’t like that.
He’s just a fan of the good old days! Like when we were 6-10 under good old mike nolan! !
C’mon you guys it’s no big deal. Ray rice got two games so no big deal … right … ?
You’ve said many times you’d like a shitty team that doesn’t get close. Ergo, Singletary.
Somebody call this man a cab. Where’s his ride?
5 mins of awkward

Anybody notice Alabama running 3 wide and hurry up this week-end?
I never considered Nick Saban a great coach but maybe the best recruiter ever. He just has more talent than every other team. Don’t get me wrong, he is not a bad coach, just not a great coach. With his ability to out recruit everybody else he can run the Sardine Can Offense and still win. He tried that offense in the pros and failed miserably at Miami. In fact; it was even worse than that, he quit on his team. He loves his SCO and traditional tempo so much he tried to get the rules changed this off season so teams could not run the hurry up against him.
So what does he do this last week-end? He goes three wide and hurry up. The #1 advocate of the SCO in today’s game has modified his stance. If Saban can do it RoBaugh can do it. Maybe there is hope for our offense to evolve to something effective. The strange phenomenon that the inspiration comes from Nick Saban is stunning.
Saban and Kiffen probably saw what a difference a good play caller makes when Kiffen got fired at USC and the new OC was running an offense nobody could stop with the same players while making only some miner changes. I stand firm that a good play caller is as important as a good QB. Maybe more important. Now if only my 49ers could learn that.
The 49ers should build a jail next to their facility to make it easier for players to practice when they get a work furlough!
Berger – I think the county jail is just down the road apiece. But the work furlough is a good idea.
According to Barrows
“Alex Boone has been working out six days a week in Cleveland, will report to #49ers in good shape”
Now they’ll have to figure out if good shape means game shape.
I think that will be determined by Boone’s reps in practice and how rusty he is.
Bellechick thinks a lot more of McLeod Bethel-Thompson at QB than the Niners do. He was claimed today by the Pats and has been added to their practice squad.
The big reason Kap is the Niner QB is because he makes so many big plays to bail out the lousy play calling. Then when he throws an int at the end of the game the coaching staff is blameless to many.
That gravatar looks about how I feel.
Skeebers, I echo the Winston sentiment. Funny that I can’t find him on my ESPN fantasy roster. Wow he looked solid on the preseason field and appeared as a doppleganger of Hyde.
